Dispatches from the Home Front

Dispatches from the Home Front?

Well, I used to write a regular feature about the lighter side of parenthood and family life for a women’s magazine.  And that was the column’s name.

I rather like it, because it seems to capture a flavour of what parenting’s like today, in all its angsty, joyful, busy, creative, exhausting, messy, delightful, stress-filled, exhilarating glory.

Yes, a home with kids can sometimes feel like a battle-zone. But Dispatches also celebrates how amazingly rewarding and overwhelmingly fun being a parent can be.

Hope some of posts will resonate with you.  And make you laugh.  Let me know what you think!
